Edie Jo’s is a neighborhood restaurant & bar located in the heart of historic Prospect Lefferts Gardens. We are thrilled to become a part of this dynamic community and strive to provide a welcoming environment for all to gather with family and friends. We will be serving a respectful interpretation of American classics and favorites, utilizing the best ingredients produced by ethical and sustainable means. The seasonal, market-driven menu will include breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. There will be daily specials, delicious snacks, guilt-free desserts, and kid-friendly options. The restaurant’s interior surrounds an open kitchen that creates a warm, neighborhood living room ambiance. Comfortable wooden banquettes line the front windows along Flatbush avenue and cozy, intimate booths line the south wall. The long, U-shaped bar is the centerpiece where guests can join us any time of the day for an early coffee, lunch with a neighbor, supper with friends & family, or a relaxing late-night cocktail. Our food will be thoughtfully paired with our take on classic cocktails, organic and biodynamic wines, a variety of New York beers and Guinness on draft.

Edie Jo’s is lovingly designed and built from the ground up by owners and operators Doug Friedman and Ben Toro. Their thirteen years of experience together in New York restaurants makes them the perfect team to open this great neighborhood restaurant in PLG. The executive chef is Jonathan Short who brings 10 years of New York-based cooking experience from the kitchen to the table. The logo and wallpaper are designed by Johnne Eschleman; the Brooklyn-based artist behind the murals in the ACE hotels.
